Students Team Up with Local Professionals to Encourage Youth to Make Responsible Choices
Students will develop innovative ideas to address issues surrounding preventable youth injury and death, including alcohol abuse and impaired and distracted driving. To inform their ideas, students will learn from and work with representatives from the Markham P.A.R.T.Y. program, including Markham Stouffville Hospital, Ontario Provincial Police, and York Region Emergency Medical Services.

The event gives students an opportunity to collaborate, problem solve and apply their learning to authentic challenges. It is also part of the innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship training for Specialist High Skills Major students.
