Summer Programs
International Education Services has made the difficult decision to cancel all scheduled summer programming due to the COVID-19 outbreak in order to put the health and safety of our staff and students first.  
 
We hope you will consider participating in our programs in 2021 when we expect to be fully operational.

Summer English ​
Language Academy
(July 6 - August 14, 2020)

Program Information

Elementary students,
age 10-13.

Individuals and groups may register for this program.

​These programs are intended for beginner to intermediate English language speakers.

The elementary program, offered at Crosby Heights PS(109 Neal Dr., Richmond Hill), is available for a minimum of 2 weeks, to a maximum of 6 weeks.

International Student Summer Credit Program
(July 27 - August 21, 2020)

New international students to YRDSB

Short-term international visiting students to Canada

Existing YRDSB international students

Non-YRDSB students attending private/public school

​This program is 4-weeks in duration.

Multiple subjects are available each providing students an opportunity​​ to:

  • begin their secondary studies early
  • adding to their credit summary, or
  • experiencing the Canadian classroom by participating in a summer credit course.

​This program is available to school groups only.

Secondary students attending an international school which grants Ontario Secondary School Diploma credits.​

A full academic schedule, combined with local sightseeing and shopping makes this an experience of a lifetime. Students will be immersed with local students and will learn while attending school and visiting places of interest.

Students attend classes in YRDSB schools and are placed with a compatible family in close proximity to the school.

​​In all cases, students attending these programs must have a custodian assigned in Canada.Homestay is available.
