   AP Program

We offer the Advanced Placement Calculus program as it is designed by the College Board in the United States. This is an excellent opportunity for students to learn first-year university calculus concepts while still in high school. The students may write an exam (AP Calculus AB) in their Grade 12 year that could earn them a university credit at most Canadian Universities in certain programs. The experience is highly collaborative and ripe with critical thinking. If you are interested in this program, you should consider taking the Grade 9 and 10 enriched math courses and you will need to take the Grade 11 pre AP class in your Grade 11 year.

Math Tutoring

We have a lunchtime drop-in math help room known as the Mathletic Centre. Every year, senior students volunteer some of their time to be math tutors in the room. This is a great opportunity for students to get the support they need with their mathematics learning, as well as for the tutors to strengthen their own understanding of the mathematics as they help others. The tutor schedule is developed at the start of each semester, but at any time a student can express their interest in being a tutor to any mathematics teacher in the school.

Math Club

A lunchtime opportunity to meet with similar minded students to solve problems and mathematical puzzles. This club is run by students for students.
