For research:

With a Markham Public library card, students can access 'ON-LINE DATABASES" through the Markham public library website which are particularly helpful when doing research. The "World Book On-line Complete" database was recommended by the librarians for our junior students. Click on Info Finder to start searches. Often the texts can also be translated into French, with the click of a button. "Encyclopedie Decouverte" is another good database for our French Immersion students, on the Markham Library on-line databases.
