Social Justice is the lens in which we examine topics and issues in each course.
 
Grade 9 Geography is the study of Canada – the people, the land and how they interact with each other.  We take an issues-based approach to identifying the complex causes, synthesising this information, and exploring the possible solutions.
 
Our field study in Toronto enables students to connect three units of study in the real world; Canada’s Global Connections, Immigration and The Canadian Identity.
 

Grade 11 Geography
Physical Geography; Natural Disasters, Violent Weather and Sustainability.
Travel and Tourism; a region study of the world.
Philosophy; examining the Big Questions. 

Grade 12 Geography
World Issues; analyzing current trends and patterns across the globe Environmental Geography; examining the interconnectedness of Planet Earth, and the impacts humans are having Social Justice; Critical Thinking, Disparity and its effects.
