Europe Post-War MAA
Europe Post-War
The geography of Europe was changed after the war and students quickly learned the new countries of Europe. This map was drawn by a student prior to the war. The war continued to affect people after its end because geographic boundaries had changed and people were suddenly living in a new country under new leadership.
View a map of Europe after the war and try to spot the differences, including the creation of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Czechoslovakia, and Yugoslavia.
Hand-drawn map of pre-war Europe.
