We are pleased to announce that we will be using an online process through Edsby to manage our Parent-Teacher Interview/Stude​nt Led Conference Night scheduling. 

Edsby is an intuitive, cloud-based platform that will allow families to easily reserve times to meet with their child’s teachers. YRDSB in partnership with Edsby have created a secure platform that protects the privacy of information for our YRDSB families.  We will also be rolling out Online IB Program Registration and Attendance this year through Edsby.

Families will need to create an Edsby account to access the online appointment scheduler for their child’s teachers for Student Led Conferences. Only families who create an Edsby account prior to the schedule being opened will have access. 

You will receive an email from York Region District School Board with instructions on how to create an Edsby account.  You will recieve a communication from your school letting you know when this email will be sent out, so that you don't miss it.  If after recieving notification from your school that the email has been sent out,  you do not see the email, please check your junk mail folder to ensure you do not miss this opportunity.  

When it's time to book interviews/student led conferences, you will be invited to schedule meetings with your child's teacher in Edsby.  

Please Note: Booking Parent Teacher Interviews/Student Led Conferences are just one feature of Edsby, Many of the features on the parent portal home page in Edsby will not available at this time.  Your school will let you know when they begin using other features in Edsby.
