Fundraising constitutes a considerable amount of the work done by the School Council. We work to ensure that 100% of fundraising money goes directly to benefit student learning. Reports of fundraising revenue and disbursement are shared at meetings.
The following are examples of recent fundraising benefits to the school:
- Supply teacher days for coaches to accompany teams to tournaments
- Indoor games for classrooms
- Recess and DPA Equipment
- Presentations/performances for students and families on topics of interest
- Subsidizing field trips as needed
- Supporting Eco Fairs, Mental Health Fairs, etc.
