Michael S. Petinarelis - Department Head
"Mr. P" was licensed to teach in Ontario in 2000. He graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and a three-year Concurrent Bachelor of Education. In 2003, he completed a Masters of Education focused on Native and Environmental Education. He came to Aurora High School in 2007 and has been actively involved in coaching the tennis team, heading up the Indigenous Studies Club and assisting at-risk students with the OSSLT as the school's Literacy Teacher.

Andre Laville - French Immersion Specialist
M. Laville studied political science and geography at York University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in 2004. In 2005, he completed his Bachelor of Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, as well as an additional qualification in French. M. Laville started working at Aurora High School in 2005, and has been teaching geography, history, French, and business courses, primarily to immersion students. During his tenure at Aurora, he has worked with the Student Council, and currently coaches the golf team.
