Course Selection at BCSS
Students will choose their courses for the next academic year through the Career Cruising website, using the Course Planner feature in their Portfolio. ILIP assemblies will be used to inform each grade of the OSSD requirements and elective credits that are to be considered in their plan, and to review the process and due dates for online submission. Each student is encouraged to visit with their guidance counsellor at least once each school year to discuss and update their educational goals and 4-year course plan.
BCSS Course Catalogue
Although there will be a finite time period for the course selection process, the BCSS course catalogue remains open for review at all times of the year. Once you arrive at the catalogue you may access the various departments using the menu on the left side of the page. The catalogue is also available in Career Cruising on the Course Planner page as the “blue book” icon.
