Learning Commons 418
Learning Commons
The Learning Commons is more than just a library; hence its name.  This is a space where there are different zones for learning.  Students can choose to:

·       read fiction or non-fiction materials

·       work independently

·       collaborate in groups

·       create through the Makerspace area

Teachers also formally bring in classes to learn about good research skills, responsible digital citizenship, and/or try out new technology skills related to robotics, the possibilities are endless.

Our learning commons has a collection of resources to help all students with studies in all subject areas. Access to chromebooks, laptops and ipads allow students access to electronic resources for research and for presentation purposes.
During the school day, classes visit the learning commons for learning experiences created and facilitated by both classroom teachers and the learning commons teacher.
