The Ontario Ministry of Education and the Independent Learning Centre has partnered together to bring a new project called Homework Help to students. This year, all Ontario Mathematics students enrolled in Gr. 7 - 10 have access to this resource.
Students log on to Homework Help and using an interactive chat room and electronic whiteboard, they can obtain personalized tutoring from a certified Ontario Mathematics teacher.
Homework Help is no cost, live, and anonymous.
Chats take place Sunday to Thursday evenings from 5:30pm - 9:30pm and all sessions are recorded.

Tutor Chat Room sessions are available to all registered users to watch and learn, including parents/guardians that can register as guests.
Registration Information
Note: The following information will be needed to login to the Independent Learning Centre (ILC)* in order that students currently taking Mathematics may be registered in the Homework Help program:
- Ontario Educational Number (OEN) - found on the Provincial Report Card
- Date of Birth
It is recommended that students use an anonymous username and password when registering.
* The Independent Learning Centre (ILC) is the organization that the Ontario Ministry of Education has designated and accredited as their official distance education provider.
