Notes on Translation
The electronic translation service on the York Region District School Board's website is hosted by Google Translate. The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 50 languages, although an impressive number, this does not capture all languages or dialects. The basic translation’s goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material.
The York Region District School Board does not guarantee the quality, accuracy or completeness of any translated information. Before you act on translated information, the Board encourages you to confirm any facts that are important to you and affect any decisions you may make.
The York Region District School Board is committed to parent, family and community engagement, and it is our hope that by providing this tool on our website that we are making our information more accessible to families whose first language is not English and thereby enabling better engagement in public education.

Welcome to Carrville Mills Public School!
At Carrville Mills Public School, we believe in setting high
expectations for our students. Our
number one priority is the well-being and safety of our students. Each day our students are welcomed and
supported so they can meet their potential.
Staff strive to provide opportunities of inquiry and critical
thinking skills with our goal of developing lifelong learners as well as
balancing individuals’ well-being and mental health.
We believe that there is an important link between character development and
student achievement. At
Carrville Mills We are… Caring, Capable, Courageous and Compassionate!!!!!!!
Strong partnerships, with parents, students and teachers
working together, are critical to student well-being and success. We are
committed to ensuring that our students come to school each day ready to
learn in a safe and supportive environment that promotes mutual respect and
responsibility. We believe that every student matters.
We value the importance of our whole school community joining together to
develop equality and healthy relationships, where everyone is included and safe.
We are continuing to educate the students about bullying behaviour and how
they can report it and help prevent it.
We encourage parents to be active in their child’s education. Communication is key in the learning process.
Please feel free to call the school with any questions or comments at any
time.
We are looking forward to a great year!
“It takes a whole village
to raise a child.”
Mark Breadner (Principal) & Kim Godfrey (Vice Principal)
