Dear Ellen Fairclough Families,

We would like to welcome you back to another exciting year of learning at Ellen Fairclough PS. We look forward to working with our community and our partners in education, our families to support your child’s learning and mental health as we navigate attending school during a pandemic.

We have a strong committed staff that love working with you and your child/ren every day. Our staff know how essential it is for your child to feel safe at school, feel respected and see their identity reflected in their learning. With disruptions in learning over the last two years, our goal is to help your child be their best in partnership with you!

For our students who are learning online this year, we know that learning in this way can be stressful and that you miss your connections with your teachers, your friends and our school. We are working with our staff and our Student Government to be responsive to the needs of our online learners to keep you connected to the school. For our students who are attending Face-to-Face, we appreciate the care you are taking in following the protocols that we need to work with to ensure that we are all safe here at school. Checking the Self-Screening every single day with your parent/guardian is so important in caring for each other here at school.
