Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year!

We, as administrators and on behalf of the staff at Fred Varley P. S., are excited to welcome all of you to the new school year. We firmly believe that every student is unique and valued here at Fred Varley, and we celebrate everyday the differences that make our learning community vibrant and special. This year, we will continue to create a learning community where everyone feels welcome, safe, respected, and supported here at Fred Varley. 

The well-being of our students and staff is at the core of everything we do. The well-being of students is important for them to thrive both academically and socially at school. The well-being of our staff is equally important for them to actively support our students. We will ensure that we create a supportive community where everyone can learn, play, and work together safely. 

Academic excellence continues to be a foundation of our school. Thanks to our dedicated and innovative staff members, we create a safe space where students can explore and be successful (and make mistakes sometimes). Those everyday successes and mistakes provide opportunities for us to be reflective learners and critical thinkers.
