Thank you for taking the time to explore Julliard’s website.
Our school has a dedicated and conscientious staff who have student learning and well-being as their main goals. This year we will be
continuing our focus on the development of our students’ skills in Literacy and
Mathematics. We are also deepening our understanding of mental health and
well-being, by promoting the fact that every student matters to us. Lastly, we
continue to reflect on the important role we play in order to create and
maintain inclusive and equitable classroom and school environments.
At Julliard, we strive to create an environment where everyone
feels safe, welcomed and respected, and students know our school motto well –
“Nous sommes une grande famille” (We are a big family.). In any environment, respect is key and we
encourage students to follow the “Golden Rule” – Treat others how you would
like to be treated. Character
development is just as important at Julliard as academic achievement. We strive
to help students become responsible and respectful citizens in our
ever-changing community.
We believe that in order for students to be successful, strong
partnerships between home and school are essential. We have an ‘open-door’
policy and we encourage you to communicate with teachers or the administration
should you have any questions or concerns. We appreciate when you share
information that will help us to best serve your child/children.
Please take the time to navigate through the website. We hope it
will assist you to become acquainted with our school and the many activities that
take place. You can also view dates of upcoming events, school newsletters,
inclement weather alerts, and general information.
We would also like to thank the many people who make Julliard such
an amazing place to learn. Our entire
staff, as well as members of our School Council and volunteers contribute to
this exciting learning environment. We encourage all parents/guardians to
volunteer at school events or share your talents with us. It is important for
students to see that we value the diversity present in our own school
community.
If you have any enquiries about our school, or you wish to become
more actively involved, please contact the school.
