Our School
The school is named after Ontario's first black Lieutenant Governor General who served in this vice-regal position from 1985 to 1991.  During his term in office he focused his attention on educational and youth issues.  Lincoln Alexander was born in Toronto on January 21, 1922.  As a young man he served his country in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II.    After graduating from Osgood Hall Law School in 1953 he practiced law until 1968 whereupon he was elected to the House of Commons.  After serving as Lieutenant Governor General for Ontario, Lincoln Alexander was awarded the Order of Ontario, and made a Companion of the Order of Canada.

Our school mascot is the Lincoln Lion.
