The Science Department offers courses in General Science, Environmental Science, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. The courses are offered at the applied, academic, enriched and AP levels. Applied level courses are designed for students heading for a community college or directly to the workforce. Academic courses are designed to prepare students for university or college. Our science staff are highly qualified specialists and as such have very high expectations of their students. They demand and obtain extremely high results as witnessed by the excellent achievement not only on internal exams, but also on external, international exams and contests.
