Family Night Webinar Series • Agenda
The Guidance Department at MSS hosts a series of virtual presentations throughout the year to support families and students with pathway planning and post-secondary research. Presentations are also advertised in our weekly school E-bulletin to families. The link to the webinars can be found in the Agenda (link above) prior to the event. Presentation slides and detailed notes are posted on the Family Night Webinar page of the Guidance website after each live event.
Student 'Snack n' Learn' Series • Agenda
Guidance hosts a series of after school, virtual 'Snack n' Learn' presentations designed primarily for Grade 11 and 12 students to support post-secondary planning. Topics include scholarship information, post-secondary research, post-secondary applications, supplemental applications and portfolios, online presence and how to accept an offer and how to budget for post-secondary life. Presentations are delivered through Google Classroom and are posted on the Gr 11/12 Post-Secondary Information page of the Guidance website after each live event.
Appointments:
Counsellors are available for student appointments in person. Google Meet appointments may be booked for family Guidance appointments (book via Parent Portal).
Student appointments with a counsellor
