Mazo de la Roche P.S. is a Grade 2 to Grade 8 French Immersion (FI) school, located in Newmarket, Ontario, with approximately 600 students.  The FI program starts in Grade 1 at the local school Prince Charles Public School.  Students from the Prince Charles Grade 1 FI program continue their studies in Grade 2 at our school.

At Mazo de la Roche P.S., we are committed to student success.  To that end, we focus our efforts on implementing the priority areas of the YRDSB Multi-Year Strategic Plan (MYSP): well-being and mental health, equity & inclusivity, collaborative relationships, and ethical leadership.  While these priorities areas frame our school activities, we aim to provide opportunities for students to engage in character development, so they may contribute to building a school community that exemplifies respect, responsibility, honesty, empathy, fairness, initiative, courage, integrity, perseverance, and optimism.  We value and seek partnership with our parents/guardians as we work together to create a school where everyone feels welcome and have a sense of belonging.
