It is important that your children read daily to improve their reading skills. Listening to reading plays an important part in learning how to read. Hearing a fluent reader helps the child understand how expression, use of grammar and proper pace should sound.
Oscar Peterson is a member of Tumblebooks (gr. K-2) and Tumblebook Cloud Reader (gr. 3-6). These websites offer online texts that are fantastic for listening to reading as well as accessing many different texts from various genres. They offer all sorts of audio picture books, graphic novels, non-fiction, read alongs, videos etc.
