Welcome to the Guidance Department at Richmond Hill High School!
Guidance provides support to students on their high school journey. This comes in the form of academic, educational, career and socio-emotional counselling. Guidance helps deliver Ontario’s career development policy, Creating Pathways to Success, which is a “Kindergarten to Grade 12 approach to education and career/life planning, designed to help students achieve their personal goals and become competent, successful, and contributing members of society.”
Guidance is located beside the main office. Students make appointments through Teach Assist. Parents/guardians are welcome to contact the Guidance Secretary if they would like to see a counsellor with their child/guardian.
Guidance is committed to helping Richmond Hill HS students achieve their goals and maximize their social-emotional well-being, recognizing that success looks different for every student.
RHHS Guidance Department for 2024-2025 Students may talk to any counsellor they feel comfortable with, however, we do have an alpha breakdown by last name. All counsellors can assist students with any topic.
