Leveled Literacy Intervention Program
As part of our school focus on reading and writing skills, we have implemented a reading intervention program for our
Kindergarten, Grade 3 and Grade 6 students.
The LLI program is taught in a small group setting for approximately 40 minutes/day. Lessons act as a supplement to good classroom instruction and
involve reading, oral discussion, writing, word work and test preparation.

Parent Volunteer Reading Program
This fall we asked our community for help. We were looking
for interested parent volunteers to join us here at Graham and help us provide
additional reading time to our students. We had an overwhelming response! Each
day, our devoted volunteers give students the
opportunity to read aloud and improve their fluency and decoding skills, while at the same time building their confidence and love for reading. Students look forward to this time and we
thank our volunteers for their dedication!
