Our School

Stonebridge Public School has a student population of almost 800 students.

Through our structures and instruction you will see how we engage student voice, design our instruction to reflect the identities of the students in our school, work to engage parents, families, elders and our community and use our environment as a third teacher. Our staff critically analyze data to support our decisions and are constantly looking for ways to build leaders and leadership capacity.

We have an active student government and class senators that represent our student body. Our Student Government is represented by a Prime Minister, Speaker of the House, Minister of Sport, Indigenous Education, Arts, Languages Innovation, Technology, Mental Health, Environment and Equity.

We have a whole school focus on answering the question, “Who am I”. Answering this question helps our staff design instruction putting student identity at the centre of instruction and assessment.

We seek to engage parents, families, and community by creating opportunities to come together in support of student learning and wellbeing, engaging families in school celebrations and events.

We see our school as a hub of our community and as a place for the community to come together.
