Q:  What is the best way to contact a staff member at the school?

A:  You can contact any of our staff via phone, notes in the student agenda, or by calling the school and making an appointment.

Q:  What is the earliest time I can drop my child off at school?

A:  Morning entry begins at 8:15 am.  There is no student supervision outside before this time.  Students are welcome to attend the Breakfast Club each morning in room 132 from 7:30 am. (Breakfast Club not offered at this time)

Q:  When should I pick my child up from school?

A:  Dismissal is at 3:00 pm each day. There is no supervision of students after school.  Day care can be arranged through Family Day Care.

Q:  What is Breakfast Club?

A:  At Armadale, we understand the importance of starting your day with a well-balanced, nutritious meal.  Breakfast Club runs Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am - 8:15 am in room 132.  There is no cost to attend and there is no advanced registration required.

Q:  How can I sign my child up for the Healthy Snacks program?

A:  Students can choose to participate in our daily healthy snacks program each month.  The registration form can be found on our website or in the office.  There is a nominal fee of $10 per month to participate in this program.

Q:  I hear of other parents volunteering in the school.  How can I get involved?

A:  Helping out in your child's school can be a fulfilling and rewarding way to become active partners in your child's education.  We are always looking for volunteers to help out in the classroom, with our healthy snacks program, in the library or in the office.  Please contact the school if you wish to become a volunteer.
