At Ballantrae P.S., our priority is our students!  Our focus is on supporting the wellbeing and academic achievement of each individual child.  As a staff, we strive to work with our families and our community members to develop the lifelong knowledge, skills, attitudes and values needed for our students to become confident and contributing members of society.

Not only do we work conscientiously to provide excellent classroom programs for our students, but there are also multiple opportunities at Ballantrae for students to become actively involved in the life of the school.  Beyond the classroom, there are many clubs, teams and opportunities available that enrich the school experience of our students.  It is highly encouraged that everyone become involved, follow their passions and work to make a difference in our school, community and world!

It is important that all of our students set goals for improvement that help them to move forward both socially and academically during their time at Ballantrae.  This is the time to take risks, try new things, meet new people and make plans for the future.  The entire staff at Ballantrae are here to help and support you, so take advantage of all the resources available.

Lastly, we encourage everyone to have a Growth Mindset and believe in the “POWER OF YET”.  Any time you are tempted to say “I can’t”, have the courage to add “YET”.
