Youth and Teen Mental Health Services primary focus is the emotional and social well-being of young people aged 12 – 25. CHMA offers a variety of programs to help give you the tools to cope with mental illness and mental health issues. There is no doctor’s referral necessary; so you can refer yourself, a friend, or family member at any time. |

Blue Door Shelters is a non-profit organization located in York Region. We provide safe, supportive shelter and services for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Founded in 1982, we operate three, no-fee, emergency shelters for families, men and youth. |

Helps individuals and families access appropriate services.

Chinese Family Services of Ontario |
A non-profit, accredited professional counselling, family services, and settlement agency with a focus on Chinese Canadians. They offer both linguistically and culturally sensitive services to individuals and families in need of individual and family counselling. There is usually a 8 week waiting period.

Kinark Child and Family Services

Identified by the government of Ontario as the Lead Agency for child and youth mental health in the York Region area.
Offers a full range of assessment and treatment services, including individual, family and group counseling. Service is provided by an team of clinicians to children and youth with complex needs and their families. Services are provided to clients in the most appropriate environment to best meet their needs, including Kinark offices, in-home, in the community, or in schools.
