Our School
History
Blue Willow Public School opened in September 2000.

Blue Willow is a school with a highly diverse population. We are pleased to have students whose home cultures represent the cultures of the world and at Blue Willow, students thrive in an environment where their identities are reflected in the school and their learning. Although many of our students were born in Canada, English is not always the first language spoken in many homes.

Our current student population is approximately 750 students.  Every year we continue to welcome new students to the school as families move into our area and families move to other locations.

Aligned with the Board focus, Blue Willow is inspired and committed to Well-Being and Mental Health, Equity and Inclusivity, Effective Instruction and Assessment, Building Collaborative Relationships and Ethical Leadership.

Facilities

Both students and teachers utilize a variety of learning spaces to make maximum use of our facilities. Classes in Kindergarten to grade 6 share gym space to assure access to the gym for all students.

A before and after school program, Le Club, is located at Blue Willow P.S. and can be reached at (416) 560-0776.
