HistoryBogart P.S. is named after the Bogart Family who have had their roots in Newmarket area since 1803. Bogart first opened its doors in the fall of 1993 making it 26 years old this year. Our school motto is Responsibility, Respect, Reason and Reputation.
Our school mascot is the Bogart Bear.
Facilities and CapacityBogart Public School was officially opened in 1993 and remains a beautiful, large facility. In the summer of 2003, a link and a 4-pack were added offering us even more room to grow.
We have a current enrolment of approximately 685 students, and employ around 60 staff in the capacities of; administartive assistants, caretakers, educational assistants, child and youth workers, designated early childcare education workers, administrators, teachers including special education teachers, E.L.L. teachers, a librarian, French and music teachers.
Bogart Public School is also the home of a community class for a Developmental Disabilities program and a community class for Austism Spectrum Disorder.

York Child Development & Family Services, is located on our site and offers both a day care and before/after school program.
