Dear Discovery Families,

On behalf of the staff here at Discovery Public School, we are excited to welcome every student, family and community member to Discovery Public School. There is a tremendous amount of work that goes into starting a new school year, and we would like to thank our dedicated custodial team and office staff for setting us up for success and all the work they do behind the scenes. Here at the Dragon’s Den, we believe in Fanning our Flame of Success, which has been demonstrated through our commitment to building and maintaining positive, inclusive and supportive relationships amongst our students, staff, families and the Discovery Public School community at large.

 We have been very fortunate to have a tremendously talented teaching staff who are dynamic in their abilities to teach the curricular and extra-curricular activities that take place throughout the school year. Their determination and dedication has been foundational in the teaching and learning process for all of our students. Our staff believe in strong partnerships between home and school and we value and appreciate the diversity and the roles that families play in strengthening our work here at Discovery Public School.

 We encourage everyone to stay connected the DPS through Edsby and our weekly newsletter “Discover Us”. We look for forward to another dynamic school year. We believe through working together and focusing on student success, both inside the classroom and out, our Discovery Dragons will be blazing a trail and be our future leaders of tomorrow.
