Welcome Letter from Principal

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to all our new and returning families. I hope you had a safe and enjoyable summer and are looking forward to the new school year.

This package includes important information about our school, the Guide to the 2020-2021 School Year including forms you need to complete and return to the school by Friday September 25th, 2020.

We would like to invite our parents and new parents to the school to attend our first School Council meeting.  The date will be announced in September.  Council meetings are a great way to be involved in your child’s school.  All are welcome.

There are many ways to stay connected with what’s happening in our school.  Visit our school website for up-to-date information about events http://forestrun.ps.yrdsb.ca/, sign into EDSBY or follow us on Twitter Image result for twitter  Follow@ForestRun_PS.

At FRPS we have a dedicated staff with a strong commitment to student well-being and achievement, and to promote positive, inclusive and supportive relationships with students, families, staff and community members.  We are committed to providing a learning environment where everyone feels safe, welcome and respected.   We promote the “Character Traits” and a growth mindset to foster resiliency and grit in our student body.

We look forward to speaking and working with you in the months ahead. Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you have any questions.  We welcome the opportunity to speak with you.

I wish you all a happy, safe and successful school year.

Sincerely,

Judith Goldberg

Principal
