Message From School Administration

Dear Students and Parents/Guardians:

A very warm Glad Park Grizzlies welcome!  We would like to extend this greeting to everyone in our community, from those who have been here for several years, to those who are new to us.  We are delighted that you will be with us.

Our staff has been busy preparing for the arrival of our students.  It is our desire and our drive to ensure that all of our students have a successful year and a good year, and all of us are here to do our part to help that to happen.

We will continue to move ahead with the three foci of the York Region District School Board, of Math, Modern Learning and Mental Health.  They are a part of our five-year plan that launched last year, and we are well on our way to furthering our understanding of them and implementing them in the daily running of the school.  We are looking forward to seeing what kind of exciting and interesting things our students will participate in here at Glad Park!

Please take some time to look through the front pages of this agenda with your son(s) and/or daughter(s), to become familiar with the policies and procedures of our school.  Please also take time throughout the year to review your child’s agenda in an ongoing way, to ensure that you are aware of the things that are happening in your child’s learning, and use it to communicate with your child’s teachers.

As always, we look forward to working with you and our students to make this a terrific year for everyone!

Bienvenue et Bonne Rentrée à Tous!

Ms. Finn, Principal, and Mr. Eygenraam, VP
