Welcome to Lakeside Public School
At Lakeside Public School we focus on creating a school that is safe and supportive and allows our students and staff to learn in a positive environment.
We have high expectations for ourselves and our students and we will work hard to make sure that there are excellent academic programs as well as a variety of activities that allow students to develop interests and skills in many different areas.
Community, or a sense of belonging, is important for all. It is important to share the many common bonds that link us. One of these bonds must include respecting the people that lived here in the past, and the people that will join our community in the future. We need to recognize that our school, which is located on the traditional territory of the Williams Treaty Peoples and includes the Mississaugas of New Credit First Nation, the Chippewas of Georgina Island as well as other Anishnaabe who travelled these lands, is working hard to embrace the values of inclusivity, relationships, innovation, engagement, responsibility and optimism, in an effort to build a healthy and diverse community.
Thank you for taking the time to visit the Lakeside Public School website, and welcome to our community.
