Principal's Message

Welcome to Lake Wilcox PS. ( We fondly call it “The Lake”),

Our staff and students are work hard to create a dynamic school environment that is warm, welcoming and inclusive.  Our staff understand the importance of every child having a sense of belonging, and we invite parents to be our partners in their child’s education. We are committed to developing well rounded students who think critically, are effective problem solvers and, most important, who are good citizens – kind to their peers, respectful of those around them, able to stand up for what is right and who understand their responsibilities in our school community.  We encourage the students at Lake Wilcox to always try their best, to value working together and we celebrate their successes.

Our school Improvement plan is focused on Equity, Mathematics and critical thinking and we always welcome the input and voices of our parent community.

As a principal I am privileged to be a part of such a caring and supportive student, staff and parent community.

Most Sincerely,

Andrea Welburn
