LSS Summer Reads 2020
Have a safe and happy summer!

June 21st is National Indigenous Peoples Day
It is a perfect time to reflect upon the long relationship between the many different Indigenous peoples of Turtle Island and Canadians throughout history. For students, families, and teachers, it is a good time to become better acquainted with the different First Peoples who share this land with us. Click on the images below to learn more about the Indigenous People of Canada.

Langstaff Secondary School
is a diverse and inclusive community and
we stand in solidarity against all forms of anti-Black racism.

The LSS Learning Commons is proud to share a Bitmoji interactive virtual classroom in support of our school community especially our black students, families and staff.

Click on the images to learn more about historic and present racial inequities and injustices in Canada and in the United States. We have also included trailbrazers that have inspired the work that continues today.

Our hope is that this virtual classroom will serve to inform and more importantly spark reflection, conversation and action toward a much-needed change in our society.  Please click here for futher reading.
