Legacy P.S. is committed to supporting the Board’s Improvement Plan for Student Achievement (BIPSA) through the development of our own School Improvement Plan for Student Achievement (SIPSA).
We are working on three key areas:
1. Math focusing on:
- student understanding through communication, application and thinking in rich tasks.
- developing a growth mindset
2. Modern Learning focusing on:
- flexible structures for learning
- increasing student voice
3. Mental Health focusing on:
- learning opportunities for support to student learning through Special Education and Student Services
- ensuring students have the necessary skills to build resiliency and perserverience
