White Pine Reading Club
The White Pine is a provincial reading program for high school students sponsored by the Ontario Library Association. Students read ten nominated Canadian young adult novels and then vote for their favourite book. Based on student voting across the province, the most popular novel is selected and the author is honored with the White Pine Award. The MHS Library prides itself on purchasing all ten nominated novels each year for our students to enjoy during and long after the contest ends.
