Our School
Maple Creek P.S. is named after the branch of the Don River on our eastern boundary.  Maple Creek Public School is located on the original lands used by the Maple Flying Club.  In 1954 two of the first Canadian female pilots, Marianne Orr and Sally Wagner, flew out of the Maple Flying Club.  By 1958 the Maple Flying Club evolved into a commercial airport with private commercial carriers flying out of Maple.  The airport was for some time considered the third busiest civilian airport in Canada.
Our school motto is "Hand In Hand We Learn Together".
Our school mascot is the Jaguar.
Maple Creek P.S. was officially opened in 2002. Three portables are currently on site. In July 2013 a three room addition was added to the main building.
  • A Before and After School program, owned and operated by Kids Come First, is located at Maple Creek P.S.
  • FAST program runs on Wednesday evenings from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
