There are many, many ways of looking at and understanding history: we are very excited to be able to help you form your perspective on humanity, and to give you the critical and academic tools to develop and express it.
The past is important, but it is most important when it helps us to understand today's world, and even tomorrow's. Our department is focused on the issues of today, and with courses that range from Ancient Civilizations to Law to Philosophy to politics, we are able to address a wide range of the ideas and events that affect us now, and will determine the kind of future we live in.
