Bring in Your Old Pens and Markers!
We are now collecting used writing instruments (markers, pens, highlighters and mechanical pencils) for recycling. Please drop them off in the box on the lunch
table across from the office. We will take them to Staples.
Staples Canada has partnered with TerraCycle® to provide a
second life for used writing instruments. They have successfully diverted
over 2 million writing instruments from ending up in landfills! Once collected,
the writing instruments are separated by material composition. The separated
items are then cleaned, shredded, and made into new recycled products.
