EQAO
EQAO is the provincial wide test that all students enrolled in Grade 9 Academic or Grade 9 Applied math write at the end of the semester (including Language Intensive students). There are no exemptions from the test.
Teachers also evaluate part of the test, which counts for 5% of their final summative mark. This is board-mandated.
The test is written over a two-day period during the students’ math class. Tentative dates for Semester 1: Jan. 20th and 21st.
