AMI- Instrumental Band
Courses - Grades 9 through 12
This course emphasizes the performance of music on woodwind, brass, and
percussion instruments, for students with previous experience on these
instruments, at a level that strikes a balance between challenge and skill and
is aimed at developing technique, sensitivity, and imagination.
Also available: Grade 9 Beginner Band, for those students who are new on
their instrument or wish to try out a new instrument
AMS - Strings - Grades 9 through 12
This course emphasizes the performance of music on orchestral stringed
instruments for students with previous experience or RCM training, at a level
that strikes a balance between challenge and skill and is aimed at developing
technique, sensitivity and control.
Also available: Grade 9 Beginner Strings, for those students who are new
on their instrument
AMR - Repertoire - Grades 9 through 12
This course emphasizes the performance of music in a large performing ensemble,
at a level that strikes a balance between challenge and skill and is aimed at
developing ensemble technique and listening skills.
