The electronic translation service on the York Region District School Board's website is hosted by Google Translate. The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 50 languages, although an impressive number, this does not capture all languages or dialects. The basic translation’s goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material.
The York Region District School Board does not guarantee the quality, accuracy or completeness of any translated information. Before you act on translated information, the Board encourages you to confirm any facts that are important to you and affect any decisions you may make.

Page Content We have been off to a great start this year in science. Our labs are bustling with activity as inquiry-based learning continues to be a department focus. We are pleased to announce that our science club is up and running. The club meets every Thursday after school in room 206. Students from all grades are welcome, regardless if they are enrolled in a science course. The club focuses on scientific discussions around current events, and on conducting experiments that go beyond the science curriculum. In October we sent a team to compete in the Science Olympics at McMaster University. The competition at McMaster was tough, and extensive higher level thinking was required. We are pleased to announce that for the first time, the Richmond Green S.S. team rose to the challenge and earned third place in the Biotechnology competition!Science Department Members:C. AdamsS.
