Dear Students and RGSS Community Members,
Thank you for taking the time to visit the RGSS website. Here you will find information and resources
that will facilitate your student’s journey at RGSS and keep you current with
events at our school. At RGSS we are
committed to supporting student wellbeing and success and ensuring that each
one of them matters and belongs.
The RGSS community is a diverse group of people with rich
and vibrant cultures, backgrounds, identities and lived experiences. We strive to provide everyone with opportunities
to contribute to, and be included in our community and we respect and value
everyone.
We offer a plethora of academic programs and our amazing
and talented staff, both teaching and non-teaching, do their utmost to ensure
the academic success of every student. In
addition, and with the full awareness that extra-curricular activities are
integral to student achievement, we have numerous clubs, arts programs and
athletic teams that enhance the high school experience for our students.
We are cognizant of the fact that parent and guardian partnerships
are important to the success and wellbeing of our students and we invite
feedback and participation through our School Council. Every week information about activities, policies
and processes at RGSS are shared through our weekly newsletter. We invite you to reach out to us with any
questions that you have.
Our students are at the center of all that we do. During the time that they spend with us we
want to prepare them for the next stage of their journey through the
development of the skills of critical thinking, communication, collaboration,
creativity and responsible citizenship.
