What is the Dual Credit program?

Dual Credit courses are for Grade 11 & 12 students.  As ministry-approved courses, Dual Credits allow students (while they are still in secondary school), to take college courses that count towards both the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and a postsecondary certificate, diploma, or degree. Students may earn up to a maximum of four optional credits through college-delivered dual credit courses.

What are some benefits of the Dual Credit Program?

  1. Earn secondary school AND college credits simultaneously at no cost to you
  2. Experience college campus life
  3. Learn from college professors in state of the art facilities
  4. Explore different pathways options
  5. Try something new
