The History department and History Council this year will be working on a number of events including the Remembrance Day Assembly, the Winter Food Drive, Black History Month in February, Women's History Month in March and Asian History Month in May.  We will also be working on fundraising in support of the various events.  We look forward to any new students joining us in promoting history and social science ay RHHS.   If you love history and social science our subjects include Grade 10 Academic,  Applied, ELL and Gifted Canadian History, Grade 11 Ancient History pre 1600, Grade 11 Economics, Grade 11 University level Anthropology, Psychology and Sociology, Grade 12 University level Philosophy, Grade 12 University level Society, Challenge and Change, Grade 12 University level World Post 1600, Grade 12 University level Politics, Grade 12 University level Economics and Grade 12 AP Economics.   In our department we try to promote all learning styles, lots of discussions and different uses of technology in the classroom as well as Independent Study.
