Welcome to the 2023/2024 school year at Stornoway Crescent Public School. Our school serves students from kindergarten to grade 3.
At our school, the staff are strongly committed to providing an inclusive, challenging and engaging learning environment focused on student well-being and success. Our work over the past few years as a school community has laid the foundation of a welcoming, inclusive and safe learning environment for our students.
Our attention and school plans are aligned with the Board's goals and we maintain a strong focus on student achievement in spaces that are positive and responsive to the students and families we serve.
We will continue to focus on developing students' critical thinking skills across the curriculum, as well as developing the skills of collaboration, communication and reflection in our classrooms and our school community. We strive to create a community of thinkers who understand that it is important to be open-minded and respectful of others' ideas, abilities and opinions, and we endeavor to take ownership of our actions and words.
