The Staff at Stornoway align Culturally Responsive Pedagogy to the School Improvement Planning Process to promote the idea that excellence and inclusivity go hand in hand, and that a truly excellent school is one where every student feels included and supported to be their best! We integrate inclusive practices, validating all learners in an Identity-Affirming environment facilitated by rich, authentic learning experiences. Parent Engagement is a strong focus at Stornoway Crescent P.S. , and we welcome Parents to engage in the learning alongside their children during special events highlighting Innovation, Heritage, Culture, Identity and Wisdom. These are a few examples of how we integrate inclusive practices into our academic programs and special activities.
