Grade 9 science became a de-streamed course in 2022 and we are excited to offer a STEM curriculum including units on the engineering process, the scientific method, biology, chemistry, physics and space. With each unit of study our students will be using the coding skills to build projects that support the curriculum expectations with a focus on experiential learning.
If you have questions regarding choosing science courses please speak to your sceince teacher. All students are required to take science in grade 9 and 10. Grade 10 allows students to make a choice between applied leve, academic or locally developed programs. If you have any questions regarding which pathway to take, please speak to you science teacher, guidance councillor and parent or guardian.
