The Mission of the York Region District School Board is “To advance student achievement and well-being through public education, which motivates learners, fosters inclusion, inspires innovation and builds community.”
In order to support the Board’s mission, the mission of Sutton D.H.S. is under revision. Here is our Vision Statement. We are a unique rural community school meeting the challenges of our ever-changing world. Our school will provide a safe and supportive environment, which fosters good character and encourages students to work to their potential. We believe that learning is life-long and we support our students in their transitions to the workplace and/or post-secondary destinations.
