Our Student Success Team members help to connect students with individualized supports to help them achieve their goals and better preparing them for graduation and beyond. With a focus on student engagement, Student Success provides new and relevant learning supports and opportunities that build on students’ interests, strengths as well as their learning needs.
These supports may include:
• personalized attention and support surrounding academic needs.
• more options for learning, such as expanded co-operative education, Specialist High Skills Majors, dual credits, e-learning and Personalized Alternative Education.
• help in solving problems they previously may have faced alone.
By focusing on knowing each learner and providing differentiated learning opportunities and programming, teachers ensure that all students acquire the social, emotional and academic learning skills they need to succeed as they transition from elementary to secondary school and beyond.
